2 WAYS TO PARTICIPATE

(1)  By all means, if you can, attend the sale in person.  The excitement of the event, the drama of the auctioneer’s cry, combines to create an unforgettable scene.  Auction committeemen and ring men will be on hand to assist.

(2)  If you, your firm, or organization cannot attend the sale but wish to participate you can do so by proxy.  Simply contact Livestock Sale Committee Chairman, Greg Walton at 670-4365

2 WAYS TO BUY

(1)  CUSTOM KILL - Some buyers will prefer having their purchases killed, processed and ready for their freezer.  A charge will be added for killing and the processor will add its usual charge for cutting and wrapping.

  • INDIVIDUALS obtain top-quality beef, pork and lamb at an attractive price.  Friends and neighbors may share a purchase.
  • BUSINESSES can use purchases for an employee barbecue, or for good-will building gifts.
  • ORGANIZATIONS may auction off wrapped meat as a fund raising activity or use the purchase for a club barbecue.

(2)  RESALE - Any buyer may consign his purchase back to the auction committee for resale at the established commercial price for sale day.  The Livestock Sale Committee handles all the details and the buyer pays only the difference between his bid and the market price.

The Buyer's Luncheon will take place during the Sale.

Funded by the Livestock Committee & prepared by the Fair Board, the Buyer's Luncheon is a great way to end the Sale.  Please Join Us!
