Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any questions not answered here, please call the fair office at 208-436-9748.

How do I enter items in the fair?

Although pre-registration is STRONGLY ADVISED, you may bring items to the fair office the day of check in. There will be longer lines and it will require patience. To pre-register, you will need to complete an exhibit registration form. This will give us the information we need to print out your tag for your exhibit. (You will need information from the fair book for the department, division, and class.) Then on Monday just bring your items and the tags and take them to that department for check in. If you need assistance filling out the forms, we would be happy to help.

If you are not able to pre-register, you will not be turned away. Depending on the time of day and amount of items being entered, there may be a wait.

Does it cost to get into the fair?

There is no charge (gate fee) to come to the fair. Most of the activities and events are free also. Some of the events like the rodeos do charge admission, but they are well worth it. Their prices are listed in the schedule of Daily Events.

We also have a great food court with lots of amazing fair food to purchase.

Where do I park?

Parking is available through the south east gate of the fairgrounds. There is plenty of space there and we have wagons in the evenings to carry people back and forth. There is handicapped parking on the north side of the antique building. Since the north gates will be closed for evening performances, please check with the fair office. You must not block any gate at any time.

There is no parking at any time on the highway right of way. The Sheriff's Department will tow your vehicle at your expense.
